ABOUT US

The NewLaw Academy was established to provide law firms with outside-in thinking on what matters most today, to help them navigate the increasingly competitive waters brought about by online law firms, ALSPs, and the digitization of traditional legal services.

Given the insular and precedent-based thinking that typifies most law firms, leaving most lagging far behind other industries when it comes to technology adoption, business model innovation, and ways of work, we help law firms bridge the gap between what they do best and everything else.

The Academy was spun out of Collective Campus, a global corporate innovation and startup accelerator that was established in 2015, and has worked with the likes of Clifford Chance, Slaughter & May, Simmons & Simmons, Mayer Brown, Harneys, Clayton Utz, King & Wood Mallesons, Allens Linklaters, Freshfields, Cornwalls, and numerous other law firms across the globe.

We build and deliver talent development programs, consult to law firms on technology adoption and better ways of working, and help them partner with and invest in legal-tech startups. We are also a media network that regularly publishes thought leadership on all things NewLaw.

The NewLaw Academy was founded by Collective Campus CEO, Steve Glaveski, who is also a regular Harvard Business Review contributor, author of several Wiley books on innovation and productivity, and was formerly a consultant with both EY and KPMG.
